Arizona Completes Round Two at the Pac-12 Championships

The University of Arizona women's golf team completed the second round of play at the Pac-12 Championships in Tucson, Ariz. The Wildcats are currently in fourth place after shooting five-over-par on the day and are at 22-over for the tournament.
"The Wildcats had a much better day today," said coach Laura Ianello. "Haley Moore lead us off with a three-under round and Krystal Quihuis had a bogey free round. We played better today, however it might not be as good enough as we needed it to be. With this being our home course and some better conditions tomorrow, we can easily go very low tomorrow."
Sophomore Haley Moore posted a strong three-under round of 69 and is tied for ninth place. Moore also eagled the 8th hole for the second consecutive day. Junior Krystal Quihuis shot a one-under-par round of 71 and she is in a tie for 11th place. Sophomore Gigi Stoll finished her second round by shooting a 76 and is currently in a tie for 19th place. Senior Jessica Vasilic is in 26th place after posting a round of 77. Senior Wanasa Zhou shot an 82 on the day.
UCLA leads the team competition at -1 and is seven shots ahead of second place Colorado. Lilia Vu of UCLA leads the individual competition at seven-under for the tournament after shooting a tournament low round of 66.
Arizona will tee off at 8:40 a.m. in the final round of play on Wednesday morning.
