Arizona Athletics and the C.A.T.S. Academics department hosted its annual Student-Athlete Convocation on Thursday, May 11 in the McKale Center. The event recognized 95 graduating student-athletes.
The ceremony gave those graduating from various colleges the opportunity to share in their achievement with fellow student-athletes. Bobby Wade, a football letterwinner who graduated last Fall as part of the athletics department's CATS Forever program, served as the keynote speaker, while Arizona Athletics' Valedictorian Wanasa Zhou (Women's Golf) also addressed the graduates and crowd. Athletics Director Dave Heeke, along with key members of the campus community, shared remarks during the ceremony.
