TUCSON, Ariz. – Senior
Wanasa Zhou has been named to the CoSIDA Acadmeic All-District First Team, it was announced.
The College Sports Information Directors of America recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. The list awards At-large student-athletes across many sports including Swimming, Gymnastics, Rowing, Water Polo, Beach Volleyball, and Golf. CoSIDA divides the country into regions with District 8 represented by schools in Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Canada.
Zhou has already been named this years Pac-12 Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the year at the Pac-12 Championships. Zhou had previously been named a first team Pac-12 All-Academic in both her sophomore and junior seasons. As well as being the recipient of the 2015 NCAA 89 Elite Award which is presented to the athlete with the highest GPA among participants at the NCAA Championships.
