Fraser, Iguodala & Kerr Push UA NBA Ring Count to 23

The Golden State Warriors won the 2017 NBA Finals with a trio of former Wildcats.

OAKLAND, Calif. – With the Golden State Warriors winning the 2017 NBA Finals over the Cleveland Cavaliers, head coach Steve Kerr, development coach Bruce Fraser and guard Andre Iguodala earned NBA championships No. 21, 22 and 23 in Arizona Basketball history. It was the second ring earned by Fraser and Iguodala and the seventh by Steve Kerr.

The 2017 NBA Finals saw a trio of former Wildcats on both teams with Richard Jefferson, Channing Frye and Derrick Williams playing for Cleveland. The six UA alums in the finals pushed NBA Finals appearances by former Wildcats to 38.

With Golden State and Cleveland facing off in the last three consecutive finals, Arizona Basketball products have won 10 NBA titles in the last three seasons with 18 alums playing in the finals.
