Homecoming is one of the most exciting times on the campus of the University of Arizona as thousands of Wildcats return to Tucson. While the weekend is capped off with Arizona Football hosting the Oregon Ducks on Saturday night, the festivities begin on Friday.
The Bear Down Block Party was held at 6 p.m. on the Arizona State Museum lawn on Friday night as the official welcoming event of the weekend before the annual Homecoming bonfire at the west side of Old Main.
Arizona Volleyball alum Penina Snuka was inducted into the Ring of Honor during Friday's sweep of the Oregon State Beavers.

As tailgaters arrived on campus on Saturday, the Homecoming parade was held in the University of Arizona mall at 3:45 p.m.
Arizona Athletics honored numerous teams and celebrated anniversaries of some of the best Arizona teams during Saturday's game. It was our privilege to recognize the 1968 Sun Bowl team, the 1978 Women's Volleyball and Women's Field Hockey teams, the 1998 Holiday Bowl team and the 2008 Las Vegas Bowl team.
The Wildcats wrapped up the weekend with a dominating 44-15 win over No. 19 Oregon on Saturday night as Arizona knocked off a Top-25 opponent for a 13
th time in the last 15 seasons.
