Beach Volleyball Releases Fall Schedule

TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Arizona beach volleyball team will participate in four competitions this fall, two at home and two away, the team announced on Friday.
The Wildcats host Grand Canyon on Saturday, Oct. 13th at 10 a.m. MST. The last time Arizona and GCU met, the Wildcats bested the Lopes 4-1 at the Wildcat Spring challenge in April of 2017.
The Wildcats will then prepare for their first tournament, which will be on Saturday, Oct. 20th at the Relentless Beach Volleyball Collegiate Invitational at Huntington Beach, California where the Cats will play multiple schools in a bracket format not yet decided.
Arizona is then set to face in-state rival ASU at home on Friday, Oct. 26 at 5 p.m. MST. The Wildcats took down ASU in the Wildcat invitational and the Pepperdine Tri-Match in the two matches they played in the 2018 regular season.
The Wildcats will conclude their fall season at the GCU Fall Duals on Saturday, Nov. 3rd, with matches scheduled against TCU (10 a.m.), USC (12 p.m.) and Pepperdine (3 p.m.).
Arizona took down TCU 4-1 in their last meeting which came at the Cal Poly Tri-Match last March. The Cats fell 1-4 to both USC and Pepperdine in their last meetings, which came last season at the Pepperdine Tri Match and the Pac-12 South Invitational.
