Rolling Hills Estate, Calif. – The Wildcats finished the Jack Kramer Invitational with a singles record of 5-5 and a doubles record of 3-1. Sophomores Igor Karpovets and Aaro Pollanen lost in the Men's Open Double Finals to David Goulak and Ivan Thamma (UC Davis).   
 
At the Grand Canyon Invitational, freshman Conner Olsen finished the tournament with a singles record of 2-1 and a 1-2 doubles record. 
 
 "Overall some great learning lessons from the weekend," said head coach Clancy Shields. "Doubles play was a highlight and positive spot as we made the finals. Singles play had some good moments, Igor finished with a 3-2 record and Aaro finished 2-3. I thought our guys played nervous and tight throughout much of their singles matches. We will definitely need to address how to calm ourselves down and relax in big moments especially as the pressure intensifies in the spring. We will take away many things from this trip and continue to build in the right direction for the spring season."         
 
The Wildcats look to finish the Fall season strong when they travel to Surprise, Ariz. to compete in the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships, from November 7^th-11^th.
