KAILUA KONA, Hi. -- Sophomore Yu-Sang Hou turned in another solid round and the Arizona Wildcats made a second-day move up the leaderboard at the Pac-12 Preview.
Hou got off to a hot start once again, carding four birdies on her way to a second-round 71 (-2). The sophomore is now at 6-under for the tournament and in sole possession of first place.
Senior Haley Moore also delivered a round of 71, helping the Cats post 3-under and making them the only team under par on the day. Overall, the Cats sit at even-par, only three shots out of the lead. Moore's round consisted of six birdies, including one on the par-4 9th hole, the third most difficult hole on the course.
Senior Bianca Pagdanganan bounced back from a rough first day to post an even-par 73, and junior Sandra Nordaas made 15 pars en route to a 74 (+1). Freshman Ya Chun Chang continues to lead the field in pars, but failed to make any birdies during her round of 4-over today.
Tomorrow is the final day of the Pac-12 Preview, and also the final round of the fall season for the Wildcats.
