Arizona departs for the Pacific Northwest after securing its season sweep of Arizona State with a 77-70 win in Tempe on last Thursday. Deandre Ayton dominated the game posting a double-double of 17 points and 14 rebounds in the second half alone en route to his final line of 25 points and 16 rebounds. Ayton's 16 boards included eight on the offensive end as he grabbed the most offensive rebounds in a game by a UA freshman since Channing Frye in the 2001-02 season. Allonzo Trier also gave the Wildcats a little bit of everything in the win with 19 points, three rebounds, five assists and three steals.

The Wildcats are the Pac-12 Conference's best road team since the league grew from 10 to 12 teams prior to the 2011-12 season with a conference road record of 40-21 (.656). UA and Oregon are the only programs with winning conference road records during that span.

With one more win, senior Dusan Ristic will tie Kaleb Tarczewski and Matt Muehlebach as the all-time winningest player in Arizona history at 110 wins in a career. Ristic enters Thursday with a career record of 109-23 (.826) and in sole possession of third place on UA's all-time wins list.

Both Deandre Ayton and Allonzo Trier made the John R. Wooden Award Late Season Top 20 list for one of college basketball's most prestigious individual honors. Ayton and Trier made up two-thirds of the Pac-12's representatives on the list. The duo also made finalist lists for their individual position awards; the Karl Malone Award for the nation's best power forward and the Jerry West Award for the country's top shooting guard.

After dropping the first three games versus Oregon State after arriving in Tucson, head coach Sean Miller has won 11 of his last 12 meetings against the Beavers with an average margin of victory of 16.5 points in those 11 wins.

Dusan Ristic continues his best stretch of basketball as a Wildcat. Ristic has scored 10 or more points in his last 10 consecutive games, which is the longest such streak of his career. In his last 10 games, the center is averaging 14.8 points and 7.9 rebounds per game while shooting 67.7 percent from the floor and 81.3 percent at the foul line. Ristic has also connected on five of his six three-point field goal attempts during this streak.

UA has split its last six trips to the state of Oregon with three of those splits coming on a loss at Oregon State. Neither program has won more than back-to-back games in Gill Coliseum in the series since Arizona won three consecutive meetings from 2007 to 2009.

Entering this week, Allonzo Trier is continuing his uber-efficient scoring ways. Trier ranks ninth in the conference in field goal percentage, shooting 54.1 percent. He is the only backcourt player ranked in the top 15 of the conference in field goal percentage. Trier's two-point field goal percentage of 64.3 percent ranks fourth in the Pac-12 ahead of 7-footer teammates Deandre Ayton (63.3 percent) and Dusan Ristic (59.5 percent).

As Arizona's season heads down the home stretch, Allonzo Trier has been automatic at the foul line during Pac-12 play. Trier has connected on 59 of his 65 free throw attempts in conference play, which is good for a 90.8 percent clip. The only other Arizona Wildcat, in the last 20 years, to shoot 90 percent or better at the foul line in conference play (minimum 50 free throws attempted) was Salim Stoudamire who did it twice. He shot 94.4 percent in 2001-02 and 90.9 percent in 2004-05.
