No. 15 Arizona Heads East for LSU Tournament

No. 15 Arizona heads east this week to compete in the LSU Beach Invitational March 30-31 in Baton Rouge, La. No. 10 LSU will host a total of six teams for the two-day event: No. 15 Arizona, Texas A&M-Kingsville, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Central Arkansas, Jacksonville State, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
The Wildcats enter the LSU Beach Invitational with a 9-7 record and will face four teams. UA begins tournament play with a match against Texas A&M-Kingsville (11-7) on Friday at 9 a.m. MST followed by No. 10 LSU (12-9) at 2 p.m. MST.
On day two of the tournament, UA will open up against Central Arkansas (4-1) at 7 a.m. MST and will face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (5-4) at 10 a.m. MST.
"Coming off last weekend playing against such a high level of competition, I don't think that's going to change moving forward," head coach Steve Walker said. "Trying to find comfort and familiarity within competition and being able to execute late in the games is something we're going to have to do better with. It's something we're working extremely hard on, players and coaches across the board, so we can get the desired result."
This will be the Wildcats' first matchup of the season against each of the competing teams. Entering this weeks play, the No. 1 pair of Olivia Macdonald and Natalie Anselmo battle with an 11-5 pairs record.
