TUCSON, Ariz. -- Home runs from
Alyssa Palomino and
Dejah Mulipola were part of UA's nine-runs 13-hit attack to back
Taylor McQuillin's one-hitter as Arizona opened the Wildcat Invitational with a 9-1, five-inning victory over South Dakota on Thursday night at Hillenbrand Stadium.
Palomino, who got her first career start as UA's leadoff hitter, went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. She now has multiple hits in six of UA's last eight games. She's 15-for-her-last-25 (.600).
