EUGENE, Ore. -- Oregon pitchers Megan Kleist and Miranda Elish threw a combined one-hitter with 12 strikeouts as the fifth-ranked Ducks finished off a sweep with a 10-0, six-inning victory on Sunday at Jane Sanders Stadium in Eugene.
The mercy shutout was the second straight in the series for the Ducks, who finished off a game 2 shutout earlier in the day on Sunday after it was suspended due to rain on Saturday.
Arizona's lone hit in the game was a leadoff
Reyna Carranco single in the fourth inning.
The Cats fell to 27-9, 6-6 Pac-12 on the season; Oregon improved to 32-6, 7-2 Pac-12. UA will host UCLA at Hillenbrand Stadium to continue conference play next weekend, Friday-Sunday.
Oregon scored two, two-out runs in the bottom of the third to take the lead.
DJ Sanders hit a two-run home run in the fourth to double the Ducks' lead.
The Ducks added six in the sixth to end the game.
