The Wildcats won their third national championship in thrilling fashion Wednesday at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Okla. Arizona became the first No. 8 seed to win the match play championship as it defeated second-seeded Alabama, 3-2, on Haley's Moore clinching birdie putt in an extra hole playoff. A day earlier, the Wildcats upended No. 1 seed UCLA in the quarterfinals and No. 5 seed Stanford in the semifinals.

Arizona became the fourth consecutive Pac-12 school to win the national championship. The title is the third for the Wildcats, who previously captured the 1996 and 2000 national championships.
