Tucson, Ariz. – The University of Arizona Cross Country team competed in the Loyola Lakefront Invitational on Saturday. The ladies finished the 5K contest in seventh place with 223 points and the men took fourth with 154 points. Leading the way for the Cats were
Carlos Villarreal,
Addi Zerrenner, and
Jennie Baragar-Petrash who all finished in the top-10 individually.
Zerrenner finished in sixth place with a time of 17:00.49, scoring five points towards the team score. Baragar-Petrash clocked a time of 17:02.32 to finish eighth and score seven points.
Villarreal took third with a time of 23:54.77 for his second consecutive top-3 finish.
Hunter Davila finished in 15th with a time of 24:39.41 to score 13 points.
Seamus White took 28th with a time of 24:48.72 to score 28 points.
Up next, the Cats will travel to Madison, Wis. to compete in the NCAA Pre-National on Oct. 13th.
