La Quinta, Calif. – The Wildcats left the National Collegiate Tennis Classic with a singles record of 8-4, a doubles record of 6-2 and two titles. Freshman Jonas Ziverts won the singles event in his first collegiate tournament, while the duo of senior Jonas Maier and freshman Conner Olsen went undefeated in doubles play claiming the doubles crown. Sophomores Aaro Pollanen and Carlos Hassey both advanced to the finals of Group 2's draw.  
 
The Wildcats are looking to make some noise this Spring season by building on to their great start at the National Collegiate Tennis Classic.
 
 "This was a very good weekend for the Cats, claiming both singles and doubles at one of the most prestigious college tournaments in the country." said assistant coach Alexander Free. "I'm really excited for Jonas Ziverts winning the title in his first collegiate event and getting to win our conference rivals is an exciting step in the right direction for our team this spring."  
 
Arizona Men's and Women's Tennis programs are bringing in the new season with their inaugural Red vs Blue scrimmage January 16^that the Robson Tennis Center, come at 5 pm for a skills clinic with the players themselves. The Wildcats will be back in action when UC Riverside and Grand Canyon come to Tucson Jan. 20^th, 2019.
