FULLERTON, Calif. – The Arizona Women's Tennis team picked up three wins Sunday afternoon. Once again, each Wildcat that competed earned at least one win whether it was a singles or doubles match. 

Csenge Furak and Sophia Thomas highlighted the Cats wins as they each won their singles matches against Roos Nederstigt and Jacuie Tan from the University of the Pacific, and the pairing of Heynemans/Tamblyn also defeated Tobachnik/Frankel from Santa Clara University.

Singles 

Furak (UA) def. Nederstigt (UP) 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 

Thomas (UA) def. Tan (UP) 6-4, 6-2 

Lee (UP) def. Heynemans (UA) 4-6, 6-0, 7-6 (5) 

Lopez (UP) def. Tamblyn (UA) 7-5, 4-6, 6-2 

Doubles 

Heynemans/Tamblyn (UA) def. Tobachnik/Frankel (SCU) 6-1

Pothoff/Gevargiz (SCU) def. Thomas/Furak (UA) 6-2 

The Cats will be back in action this coming Friday against Team Japan.
