Tucson, Ariz. – On the opening day of the Texas Tech Invitational, Amarissa Hawker and Keishawn Everly tabbed PRs in the weight throw and 60-meter dash.

PRs For All
Hawker opened the day for the Cats with a toss of 18.82m (61-9) in the weight throw. The senior finished fourth overall. Everly ran a time of 6.89 in the 60-meter dash to set a new PR in the event. The freshman finished fourth in his heat.

Sprinters Shine
Na'Asha Robinson opened her Wildcat career with a time of 54.17 in the 400-meters. Diana Gajda ran a time of 54.28 in the 400-meter dash to finish second in her heat. Tatum Waggoner clocked a time of 54.35 in the 400-meter dash. On the men's side, Umajesty Williams finished seventh in the 400-meter dash with a time of 47.14. Zakee Washington clocked a time of 48.28 in the 400-meter dash.

The Cats are back in action tomorrow at the UW and Texas Tech Invitationals.
