TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Arizona Athletics Department and the Wildcat Club are announcing new enhancements to the Wildcat Club benefits structure for all members. The new system will be easier to understand, streamline payments and count all donations and total costs of season ticket purchases for any sport. These changes will simplify season ticket pricing and allow season ticket costs to raise your benefit level.
 
"Our Wildcat Club members have a tremendous impact on our department and programs, and we would not be where we are today without their continued support," said Vice President and Director of Athletics Dave Heeke. "Our staff has spent a considerable amount of time evaluating our current benefits structure. We are excited to announce these enhancements, which we feel will benefit everyone. The unwavering support we receive from our donors in Southern Arizona and around the country helps make Arizona Athletics one of the premier athletics departments in the nation."
 
The enhancements mark the first changes to the annual giving levels and benefits structure since 2001, which we are making  in an effort to reward donors and season ticket holders with a more comprehensive approach. We are also adjusting to the 2017 tax code change, connected to the purchase of season tickets.  Approximately 60 percent of Wildcat Club members will see their 2019-2020 benefit level increase without making any additional contributions due to these changes. This will give donors access to additional membership benefits, while representing a more complete picture of each donor's commitment to Arizona Athletics.
 
The benefits and season ticket structure will be adjusted beginning this fiscal year (July 1, 2019 - June 30^th 2020). Below are some of the changes that will go into effect moving forward:

• Priority and season ticket costs are combined into a single season ticket price
• All dollars spent with athletics on season tickets and donations will be counted towards your new Wildcat Club annual benefit level
• Philanthropic giving has not changed and will continue to count towards your annual benefit level
