Tucson, Ariz. - Arizona's Swimming and Diving team is set for their first home meets of the season this weekend against Hawai'i, Friday at 2 p.m. and Denver, Saturday 12 p.m. MST.
Utah Recap
The Cats are coming off their first dual meet of the season, splitting with Utah on the road. The men pulled off a dominant 171.50-128.50 win while the women fell 126-174. Freshmen
Bjorn Markentin and
Hannah Farrow are both fresh off of their first two collegiate wins and will look to add to their total this weekend.
Brooks Fail and
Sam Iida are coming off strong season debuts as well with Fail winning four events and Iida bringing in three of his own.
Eyeing the Competition
The Denver men are 2-0 on the young season with victories over Colorado Mesa and Air Force. Meanwhile, the women are 4-1 with wins over Colorado State, Colorado Mesa, Tulane, and Florida International.
Hawai'i will travel to Tucson for their first meet of the season.
History Against Hawai'i and Denver
The Wildcat women hold a 1-0 all-time record versus Hawai'i dating back to January of 2018, while the men have never competed against either team and the women have never faced off against Denver.
