Quotable
Herman commented on him choosing Arizona, saying, "I chose Arizona because I know two guys on the team very good from Sweden and I really liked Clancy. I also have a really good friend of mine who is also going to Arizona (Gustaf Strom). On my visit I really liked the chemistry of the team and it seemed like a great fit for me. I'm looking forward to starting at Arizona, to be a part of the team spirit and to compete not just for me but an entire university."
Head Coach
Clancy Shields talked about his newest and final recruit, "This is a very exciting day for us. Herman is one of the hottest players on the ITF junior circuit right now and very close to cracking the top 100 in the world rankings. Herman is one of those players that has the uncanny ability to stay poised in the big moment and the courage to go for it when the pressure is at its highest." He continued his admiration, saying, "I'm incredibly impressed by Herman's commitment and improvement he has made in the past year, it's exciting to see his hard work is paying off! I'm very honored and happy to see Herman compete for the Wildcats, to play for and with his new teammates, and I know he will thrive in the high intensity pressure that is college tennis. Welcome to the family Herman!"
