TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona (2-0) outscored Santa Clara (1-1) 22-6 in the fourth quarter to outlast the Broncos by a score of 65-52 on Friday night in front of 4,225 fans in McKale Center.

Sam Thomas – The junior shot 7-14 from the field and went 3-6 from three as she outscored Santa Clara 8-6 by herself in the fourth quarter. Thomas also brought down a game-high eight rebounds while dishing out four assists and blocking three shots.
