MPSF Champs
Sophomore Jordan Geist and junior Lillian Lowe claimed MPSF Titles in their respective events. Geist threw a mark of 20.79m (68-2.5) on his final throw in the shot put to claim the conference title. Lowe cleared 1.79m (5-10.5) to defend her ladies high jump title. She won the 2018 contest with the University of Hawaii

Cats Can Jump
Lowe was one of four Cats to score in the high jump. Justice Summerset took second on the men's side with a 2.16m (7-1) clearance to score eight points to the men's tally. Karla Teran and Alexa Porpaczy cleared 1.74m (5-8.5) on the women's side. Teran finished sixth and Porpaczy took seventh.

400-Meters to Score
Three Cats scored in the 400-meter dash on the final day of the MPSF Championships. Umajesty Williams clocked a time of 47.31 to finish seventh overall. Tatum Waggoner finished fourth with a mark of 53.68. Shannon Meisberger set a PR in the event, registering a time of 55.04 to score a pair of points.

PRs in the Championships
Carlos Villarreal and Andy Buchanan closed out the MPSF Championships with PRs in their respective events. Villarreal clocked a time of 7:52.90 to finish fifth overall. Buchanan closed out the 800-meter run with a time of 1:52.99 to finish 13th overall.

Giving Back
On Friday before the MPSF Conference Championships began, 16 athletes led by Trevor Volpe volunteered at the SCCA House in Seattle. The group made breakfast and conversation with patients and families affected by cancer.
The Cats are back in action on Friday, March 8th at the NCAA Championships in Birmingham, Ala.
