TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona senior
Bianca Pagdanganan has been named Pac-12 Women's Golfer of the Month.
Pagdanganan's hot month started at the Arizona Wildcat Invitational where she finished in a tie for fourth. She shot a final round 70 (-2) in brutal conditions at Sewailo Golf Club.
Her stellar play continued the following week at the El Tigre Invitational. Pagdanganan ran away from the field, finishing at 9-under and six shots ahead of second place. Her final round 67 (-5) helped the Wildcats defend their title in Puerto Vallarta.
"Bianca is one of the top collegiate players in the world and she is extremely worthy of this Pac-12 award," said head coach
Laura Ianello. "She has continued to perform under pressure and is excelling on and off the course. Her win in Mexico last week is a reminder of how dominant of a player she is. Congrats to 'B' on being named Pac-12 player of the month!"
Pagdanganan will be back in action when the Wildcats compete in the Pac-12 Championship April 15-17.
