EUGENE, Ore. The Arizona Men's Golf program concluded play at Pac-12 Championships Wednesday afternoon. The team finished in ninth place, scoring 1470 (+50). Sophomore
Trevor Werbylo had the highest finish for the Cats, placing in the top 25.

The Eugene Country Club course was unforgiving throughout the three-day, four-round competition. Only one team, Pac-12 Champion Stanford, posted a score under par in the tournament. The Cats struggled on par-three and par-fours, while making up a little more ground on par-fives, going 12 under on those holes.

Leading the Cats all four rounds was Werbylo, who finished in a tie for 21
st. The Tucson local concluded with a score of 289, five-over par. Werbylo shot two rounds under par, including a 69 in the first round, for 20 rounds at par of better this season.

Junior
David Laskin finished tied in 30
th with a 291 (+7). The junior had two rounds at even par in the first day, for 15 rounds at par or better this season. Laskin made par on 50 holes, the second most throughout the individuals in the competition.

Briggs Duce tabbed 16 birdies throughout the competition, for a score of 292 (+8). The Arizona native finished tied in 82
nd with one round of 69 and a round at even par. Â Duce performed well on par-five's, ranking in the top four averages for the individuals. This is his third highest finish of the season, with his highest being a 25
th  place finish at the Arizona Intercollegiate in January.

Other scores for the Cats included a 295 (+11) for
Brad Reeves, who finished tied in 41
st, a 303 (+19) for
Ethan Marcus for a tie in 57
th, and a 306 (+22) for
Tianlang Guan.

NCAA Men's Golf Championship season begin in two weeks, with the Selection Show being broadcast on Golf Channel at 6 p.m. MST on Wednesday, May 1.
