Fulfilling the Dream: Student-Athlete Convocation 2019

Over 110 Wildcats will be recognized on Thursday, May 9 as University of Arizona graduates.
TUCSON, Ariz. – Thursday marks a pivotal day in Arizona Athletics and its student-athletes who proudly don the Block A as 111 Wildcats will be recognized as part of the 2019 class of graduates at the University of Arizona. The student-athlete convocation ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 9 inside McKale Center as we honor those earning their diplomas.
We are honored to have a group of speakers on Thursday, including Valedictorian Gustavs Kehris of Men's Track and Field, Salutatorian Lindsey Malecha of Women's Basketball and NBA guard Jerryd Bayless representing CATS Forever. Convocation is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, and you can click here to watch the live stream of the ceremony. Katrina Konopka from Swimming and Diving and Yezan Hassan of our cheer program, received the University of Arizona's prestigious Freeman Medal as outstanding seniors.
