Arizona Athletics to Host PA Announcer Tryouts on July 17

Arizona Athletics is seeking a primary PA Announcer for Volleyball, Women's Basketball and Beach Volleyball for the 2019-20 seasons. The Athletics department will host a tryout for anyone who feels that they have the voice and experience to PA at these events. There are also positions available as back-up PA Announcers to have on call throughout the seasons. Auditions are mandatory to be considered for this position.
The tryout will take place on Wednesday, July 17 from 5-8 p.m. inside McKale Center and will be the only time allotted for tryouts this summer. Exact timing for each person applying will be set based on amount of applicants and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Times for tryouts will be set and communicated by Tuesday, July 14. The tryout should take 30 minutes max.
Anyone considering trying out must reserve a time by Tuesday, July 16 at 5 p.m. by emailing Arizona Athletics Marketing at ica-marketing@email.arizona.edu .
