Nordaas and Chang Named All-American Scholars

TUCSON, Ariz. – University of Arizona women's golfers Sandra Nordaas and Ya-Chun Chang were named All-American Scholars this week by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).

It's the second straight season Nordaas has received the distinction. Nordaas, who has a 3.73 GPA in Psychology, was also a second-team Pac-12 All-Academic selection each of the last two years. On the course, Nordaas just completed her junior season and was a member of the five-person team to complete for the Wildcats in the NCAA Championships, where the Wildcats advanced all the way to the Final Four.

Chang, a freshman, earned her first WGCA All-American Scholar recognition in her debut season with the Wildcats. Chang won a critical match for the Wildcats in the National Quarterfinals versus No. 3 USC at the NCAA Championships where Arizona won 3-2.
