TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Arizona Athletics department will hold tryouts for anyone wishing to perform the National Anthem at upcoming athletic events on Thursday, Aug. 15 from 6-8 p.m. in the McKale Center.

These tryouts will be for singers at select 2019-2020 athletic events. Anyone wishing to perform at these events must audition to be considered, with this being the only opportunity to audition for the upcoming seasons.

Individuals interested in participating in the tryouts can reserve a time by emailing ica-marketing@email.arizona.edu by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9. Those who have submitted a request by the deadline will be informed of their slot by Monday, Aug. 12.

Auditions will last approximately 10 minutes, and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. The auditions and any anthem performances subsequently booked are both unpaid opportunities.
