TUCSON, Ariz. – The GymCats earned a season-high final score of 196.150, however it wasn't enough to overcome Oregon State who posted a score of 196.400 on Saturday. Arizona earned season-high event scores on vault, the uneven bars, and floor. Eleven GymCats earned season-high scores and six earned career-high scores.

Vault
Arizona began the competition on vault, scoring a season-high of 49.100. Three GymCats earned season-high scores and two earned career-high scores. Maddi Leydin took first place on the event, tying her career-high of 9.900, and Jenny Leung tied for second place with a season-high score of 9.850. Payton Bellows returned to the vault lineup for the Cats, earning a 9.800 in her season debut.
 
Uneven Bars
The GymCats moved to the uneven bars for the second rotation and earned a season-high 49.050, with two gymnasts earning season-high scores and two earning career-high scores. Christina Berg took home the crown on bars, tying her season-high score of 9.90. MacKinzie Kane earned a season-high score of 9.825, tying for fourth place with Maddi Leydin.
 
Balance Beam
On beam, Arizona earned a 48.775. One GymCat earned a season-high score and two earned career-high scores. Malia Hargrove took home first place on beam with a career-high 9.850. Zaza Brovedani tied her career-high score of 9.825 to tie for fourth place with Jenny Leung.
 
Floor
The Cats competed on floor for the final rotation and earned a season-high score of 49.225, with two GymCats earning season-high scores and three earning career-high scores. Malia Hargrove debuted on floor and Maddi Leydin tied for third place with scores of 9.875.
 
All-Around
Maddi Leydin made her season debut in the all-around competition with a score 38.775. Leydin tied her career-high of 9.90 on vault and earned a season-high of 9.825.

Athlete of the Meet - Malia Hargrove 

Malia Hargrove earned the title of Athlete of the Meet for Arizona with a 9.724 on vault, a 9.850 on beam, and a 9.875 on floor.
