Divers Head to Flagstaff for NAU Invitational

TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Arizona men's and women's diving teams are set to begin the 2020-21 season this weekend in Flagstaff, Arizona at the NAU Diving Invitational.

Head diving coach Dwight Dumais and the Wildcats will head to the NAU Diving Invitational, where they will compete Friday, Dec. 4 through Sunday, Dec. 6.

The Wildcats return 2019-20 CSCAA All-Americans Eric Correa (3-meter) and Bjorn Markentin (1-meter, platform) on the men's side; Markentin was the 2019-20 Pac-12 Freshman Diver of the Year. On the women's side, the Wildcats return Gracie Sleeman and Jacqueline Purwins and welcome in transfer Martine Erlam, who is set to make her Wildcat debut this weekend. Olympic hopeful Delaney Schnell will be taking an Olympic redshirt to train for the Tokyo games this summer.
