UA leads the Pac-12 in scoring overall (78.3) and is second in conference games (72.0).
The 1.40-to-1 assist/turnover ratio is 10th in the country, with the Wildcats turning the ball over a total of 31 times over the last four games (6, 6, 9, 10).
Nnaji is a three-time Pac-12 freshman of the week honoree and leads the conference in rebounding in Pac-12 play (9.8) and ranks eighth in scoring(16.2). He has tallied 11 double-doubles this season - seven in Pac-12 play - and needs one more to move into a three-way tie for second on the UA single-season double-double list by a freshman. The Hopkins, MN native tallied 21 points and five rebounds in the win at Cal, his eighth 20-point game of the season. Nnaji played AAU basketball with Stanford guard Tyrell Terry.
Mannion is second in the Pac-12 with 131 assists this season (5.5 a/gm) and is tied for fifth with Luke Walton for the most assists in a season by an Arizona freshman. For the season, Mannion is 15th in the conference in scoring (13.9) and third in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.11). In Pac-12 play he is averaging 3.4 rebounds per game after collecting just 1.9 rebounds per game in non-conference play. He had 10p, 5a against Cal.
After scoring in double figures once in a six-game span in January, freshman
Josh Green has tallied double digit scoring efforts against USC (18) and UCLA (11). Although he had just four points against Cal, he impacted the game with six defensive rebounds that helped the Cats get out in transition. He leads the team with 36 steals and ranks eight in the Pac-12 in steals/game (1.5).Â
As a starter the last six games, graduate transfer
Stone Gettings has averaged 9.5p, 4.8r and is shooting 59.6 percent from the floor. He logged his first double-double of the season with 19p, 12r at Washington State.
Fifth year senior
Dylan Smith broke out of an 0-of-18 3FG slump in a big way at Cal, connecting on 4-of-5 on his way to 14 points, his first double figure scoring game since Jan. 25. He also added five rebounds.Â
Redshirt sophomore
Jemarl Baker Jr. saw his streak of consecutive minutes without a turnover end at 153 in the game at Cal on Thursday. He's the only D-1 player to have at least 60 assists and 12 or fewer turnovers.
