Montgomery, Ala.—The Wildcats head to Alabama for the Blue Gray Classic that starts on Friday, Feb. 21. This is the first time Arizona will be competing in the Blue Gray Classic.Â

Arizona is one of the eight teams competing in the tournament along with Yale, Wake Forest, SMU, Princeton, Alabama, Auburn and South Alabama. In the first round Arizona is set to play Auburn on Friday at 9 a.m. Based on the result, Arizona will play either SMU or Wake Forest.Â

Gitte Heynemans won all four matches last weekend consisting of two singles and two doubles matches. They are looking to take their winning streak into the weekend competing against top ranked teams.Â

Talya Zandberg leads the team with 12 singles wins throughout the season followed by sophomore
Kirsten Prelle. Zandberg looks to increase that number this weekend, along with the rest of the team.Â
