Wildcats Set for Friday’s Pac-12 Championships

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona cross country is sending 12 athletes to Salt Lake City, Utah for the 2021 Pac-12 Championships this Friday, Oct. 29.
Competition is set to begin at the Regional Athletic Complex at 9:00 a.m. with the men's 8k followed by the women's 6k at 10:00 a.m.. The races will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network and across all six Pac-12 regional channels, or you can follow along with live results here.
The men will face off against three teams ranked in the top 25 nationally– Colorado (3), Stanford (4) and Oregon (12) while the women will go up against four– Colorado (4), Utah (8), Washington (18) and Stanford (23).
Last time out, the Wildcats competed at Pre-Nationals where the men took 17th and the women finished 30th with Shem Kemboi and Grace Driskill leading the way, clocking 25:14.4 and 21:09.1, respectively.
2021 Performance List
At last season's conference championships, both the men and women finished eighth with a total of 12 athletes running PRs along with two top-15 finishes.
