FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. – No. 9 Arizona Women's Golf returns to a familiar course when it competes in the Blessings Collegiate Invitational in Arkansas alongside Arizona Men's Golf in the nationally-televised, mixed event. The Blessings Golf Club hosted the 2019 NCAA Championships where Arizona advanced out of stroke play and defeated USC in match play to reach the semifinals.

Laura Ianello. "Our ladies showed a lot of improvement throughout our first tournament of the season last month at the ANNIKA, and I look forward to seeing our hard work in practice this Fall pay off this week in Fayetteville."

The Wildcats will play a lineup of three experienced returners in
Yu-Sang Hou,
Vivian Hou,
Gile Bite Starkute with the freshmen duo of
Carolina Melgrati and
Lilas Pinthier.
Yu-Sang Hou was a member of the Arizona's 2019 team that reached the semifinals of the NCAA Championships at Blessings, sinking seven birdie putts in her second round of stroke play.
Melgrati will be making her first collegiate start in Arkansas this week after the rest of the lineup participated in the prestigious ANNIKA Intercollegiate last month. Arizona finished in sixth place in the loaded field as
Yu-Sang Hou led the Cats at 4-under for the top-10 finish.
The second annual Blessings Collegiate Invitational is a mixed, 54-hole event with the men's and women's programs from 10 schools. The Golf Channel will air the tournament live from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (MST) for all three days of play, beginning on Monday, Oct. 4.
