TUCSON, Ariz. -- The American Volleyball Coaches Association named the first group of Thirty Under 30 award winners on Monday. This award was created with the intention of recognizing young and up-and-coming coaching talent. The recipients are hardworking and passionate about teaching and dedicated to that rapidly growing sport that is beach volleyball. 

Arizona Beach Volleyball Assistant Coach Emily Kiser is one of the first 30 recipients of the Thirty Under 30 award. Prior to becoming an Assistant Coach at the U of Arizona, Kiser was a UA player under Head Coach Steve Walker from '14-'15. 

In her time as an Assistant Coach, she has helped guide Arizona to a 76-24 overall record and helped three different pairs earn AVCA Top Flight awards. She is currently aiding the winningest team in program history going 21-4 heading into the Pac-12 Championships.
