AUSTIN, Texas - Arizona Diving closes this weekend at the UT invite with two first place and several top ten finishes.Â
The Wildcats faced off against some of the best programs in the nation and topped the score board in two of six final events. Â
In the women's 3m event, Olympic silver medalist Delaney Schnell took the top spot with a score of 372.70. Also on the board was sophomore Quinn Gariepy with fifth place, and freshman Zara Ayazi in sixth. In addition to taking second in the women's 1m, Schnell secured another first place in the platform competition with a score of 65.43. Â
Bjorn Markentin also put his name on the board with a fifth place finish in the men's 3m event, and eighth place in the men's 1m. Â
