TUCSON, Ariz. - After a trying battle, the Wildcats were bested by the Trojans in today's matchup with a final score of 165-128 on the women's side and 168-132 on the men's.  

Swimming 

Today's competition consisted of several events in which the Cats were on the leader board, including first place in both the Men and Women's 200 Medley Relay (Billy Oates, Ryan Foote, Seth Miller, Tai Combs...Paige Armstrong, Kennedy Fisher, Julia Heimstead, Alyssa Schwengel), the Men's 200 Free Relay (Marin Ercegovic, Seth Miller, Tommy Palmer, Tai Combs), Men's 1000 Free (Beck Parnham), Men's 100 Free (Tommy Palmer), Women's 100 Fly (Maddy Burt), and the Women's 200 IM (Julia Heimstead).  
 

Among the dual's most notable performances, freshman Haakon Naughton took the top spot in both the 100 and 200 fly. 

On the women's side, Maddy Burt's 100 fly time not only secured her first place, but it also qualified her for an NCAA B-cut.  

Diving  

Delaney Schnell continued to dominate the diving boards this afternoon, taking first place in the Women's 1m and 3m events.  

Freshman Zarah Ayazi also left her mark today today with a 21.97 point improvement in the Women's 3m, getting her third place.

In two weeks, the Wildcats will head to Austin, Texas for the UT Diving Invitational, where divers will compete in a series of events over the course of three days. The competition will take place at Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center beginning Thursday, Nov. 17, and ending Saturday, Nov. 19.
