LOS ANGELES, Calif. – No. 9 Arizona (19-6) dropped the second game of the series, 3-0, to fourth-ranked UCLA (24-3) on Sunday.
UCLA held the Cats scoreless and got a shutout from Holly Azevedo in the circle.
The Bruins scored their first run in the first inning on an RBI single. They added the second run in the fourth and the third run came in the sixth inning.
Madi Elish (4-2) was the losing pitcher in Sunday's game, striking out just one batter.
