SUPERSTITION MOUNTAIN, Ariz. – Arizona Women's Golf will return to action for the first time in 2023 with the one-day Superstition Challenge in northern Arizona. The Wildcats will take on a field that includes Arizona State, Baylor, TCU and UCLA at Superstition Mountain Golf Course.

"I am eager to see our young ladies back in action on Monday," said head coach Laura Ianello. "The first tournament of the semester is always exciting, especially after our strong performances in the fall. We also have some talented golfers who joined us during the break who will compete for us for the first time on Monday, which adds to the excitement."

The Arizona lineup will feature senior Gile Bite Starkute, sophomore Carolina Melgrati as well as the freshman trio of Maria Cabanillas, Julia Misemer and Nena Wongthanavimok. Newcomer Sydney Bryan, who transferred from UNLV at the semester break, will also compete as an individual.

The Wildcats closed out 2022 with a third-place finish at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview as Starkute finished in third place, which was the best finish of her career.
