CORVALLIS, Ore.- Arizona fell to the Oregon State Beavers in Corvallis today by six tenths of a point with final scores of 196.375 - 197.025.
Malia Hargrove led the GymCats earning two career high scores of 9.975 on vault and 39.550 in the all around. Arizona earned two career high scores on bars, with Bailey McCabe scoring a 9.900 and Elizabeth LaRusso a 9.800. Jordan Schultz also earned a career high today with score of 9.850 on floor.
Uneven Bars
The GymCats earned a 49.025 on the first rotation of the day. McCabe earned her career high score of 9.900, followed by Elizabeth LaRusso with a career high 9.800. Alyson Fears scored a 9.850, followed by Emily Mueller with a 9.750 and Hargrove a 9.725.
Vault
Arizona took the lead during rotation 2 with a score of 49.200 after Hargrove earned her career high score of 9.975. Jessica Castles and LaRusso both earned scores of 9.850, followed by Danielle Nosek who scored a 9.775. Mueller and Caroline Herry both received scores of 9.750 to close out the event.
Floor Exercise
The GymCats fell behind by two tenths of a point in rotation 3, scoring a 49.300. Hargrove matched her career high score of 9.925, followed by Mueller who scored a 9.875. Herry and Schultz both earned a 9.850 on the event, a career high for Schultz. LaRusso received a score of 9.800, followed by Castles with a 9.775.
Balance Beam
Arizona wrapped up the meet on the balance beam with a score of 48.850. Hargrove matched her career high once again with a score of 9.925. Fears and Herry both earned themselves scores of 9.825, followed by Mueller with a 9.750.
