BERKELEY, Calif. – Arizona scored a 196.525 on Sunday at Cal's quad meet to place second. Cal placed first with a 198.275, UC Davis earned a 196.425 to place third, and Sacramento State came in fourth place with a 194.875.
Uneven Bars
Arizona opened the meet with a 49.125 on bars.
Alysen Fears tied her career high of 9.925 to lead the Cats on the event.
Bailey McCabe followed with a 9.85, while
Sirena Linton and
Emily Mueller each scored 9.80s.
Taylor Raskin scored a 9.75 and
Elizabeth LaRusso posted a 9.70.
Balance Beam
The GymCats posted a 49.325 on beam in the second rotation.
Malia Hargrove earned a 9.90 and Wmily Mueller posted a 9.875. A trio of gymnasts –
Jessica Castles,
Caroline Herry, and Fears – earned 9.85s.
Sirena Linton scored a 9.825 on the event.
Floor Exercise
Arizona scored a 49.00 on floor in rotation three. Deets paced the Wildcats on floor with a 9.85 and Hargrove scored a 9.825. LaRusso earned a 9.80,
Emma Strom scored a 9.775, and Mueller posted a 9.75.
Vault
The GymCats posted a 49.075 on vault to close out the meet. LaRusso anchored the rotation and scored a 9.875 to lead Arizona. Castles posted a 9.85 and Mueller scored a 9.80. Hargrove, Herry, and
Danielle Nosek each earned 9.775s.
