TUCSON – The Arizona Wildcat Beach Volleyball team concluded day two of the Wildcat Spring Challenge with two more victories, going a perfect 4-0 on the weekend. 18th ranked SandCats take down Colorado Mesa (5-0) and UTEP (4-1), both for a second time this season. Arizona improves to 16-4 on the season. 

Sarah Blacker and her duo partner Alex Parkhurst go 2-0 on the day. With those wins, Blacker's career win total moved to 87, surpassing Madison Witt, McKenna Witt and Brooke Burling for the all-time lead in Arizona history. Making it even more special is that both Witt sisters and Burling were in attendance on Saturday as part of the alumni reunion weekend commemorating the 10th season of Arizona beach volleyball.

Abby Russell and Hope Shannon tallied a win and a loss today. The pair on court two took down Colorado Mesa but fell to UTEP in an overtime battle in the second set.

Alana Rennie and Grace Cook had themselves a day defeating both squads today. The number three pair goes perfect for the weekend. 

Court four was held down by Kali Uhl and DIlara Gedikoglu. The duo held Colorado Mesa to 30 total points in both sets and held UTEP to just 20 total points in two sets. They boosted their record to 9-0 on the year. 

Annie Kost had a solid showing with her partners, Caroline White against Colorado Mesa and Miranda Erro against UTEP. Court 5 was in good hands going perfect on the weekend. 

Arizona is back at it next weekend to compete in the Pac-12 North Invitational hosted at Stanford. They will play the home squad first, along with Utah, UCLA, and USC.
