EUGENE, Ore. – Arizona dropped the final game of the series to No. 17 Oregon, 7-4. The Cats scored four runs on seven hits but left six runners on base.

Blaise Biringer and
Devyn Netz each had two hits for Arizona.

Arizona took an early 3-0 lead in the second inning. With the bases loaded,
Tayler Biehl brought home the first run for the Cats with an RBI single to right.
Jasmine Perezchica followed with another bases-loaded RBI single and
Blaise Biringer hit a sacrifice fly for the Cats' third run.

Devyn Netz hit her 12th home run of the season in the third inning to give Arizona a 4-0 lead.

In the fourth, Oregon hit a three-run home run to close the gap. The Ducks tied the game in the sixth with a bases-loaded hit by pitch and took a three-run lead on a three-run double.

Ali Blanchard took the loss to fall to 6-3 after entering in relief for Netz in the sixth and giving up four runs. Netz pitched the first five innings, holding the Ducks to three runs before re-entering for Blanchard in the fifth. Netz also recorded six strikeouts in 5.2 IP.

Arizona returns home to host the final two Pac-12 regular season series against Oregon State beginning April 28 and Cal beginning May 5. The inaugural Pac-12 Softball Tournament will be held at Hillenbrand Stadium beginning May 10.
