Men's Tennis to Host First Rounds of NCAA Tournament

TUCSON, Ariz. - For the first time in program history, Arizona Men's Tennis will host the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament at LaNelle Robson Tennis Center on Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6. The Wildcats claimed the 14th seed and will face off against Boise State in the inital round on Friday at either 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. (MST).

The University of Florida and Oklahoma State will battle each other in their first round match at LaNelle Robson. $5 tickets are available for purchase on-site with limited seating and no advanced sales.

Arizona split the regular season Pac-12 championship with USC and Utah this season after winning it outright in 2022. The back-to-back Pac-12 championships are the first in program history after 43 years of competing in the Pac-12 Conference. The conference titles are the most recent landmarks in the meteoric rise of Arizona Men's Tennis under head coach Clancy Shields. The program advanced to its first-ever Sweet 16 in 2021 as Shields was named Pac-12 Coach of the Year in 2019 and 2021.

Coming off their fifth Mountain West tournament championship last week, Boise State will travel to Tucson under the leadership of head coach Luke Shields, the elder brother of Arizona's head coach Clancy Shields.

ArizonaWildcats.com will announce additional postseason information for this week's matches in the coming days.
