Gymnastics Adds Two to 2024 Roster

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Gymnastics has added Haley Havenor and Tirzah Wise to the 2024 roster, the team announced on Wednesday. The duo will join a talented class that includes Sophie Derr, Ainsley Greever, Sophia Maisel, and Abigayle Martin who signed in November 2022.
 
"We are thrilled to welcome Haley and Tirzah to Arizona," said head coach John Court. "They will complete our incoming class for next year. Both have proved they can compete at a high level during their club careers, and we look forward to them thriving personally, academically, and athletically during their four years in Tucson."

Haley says: "I choose the University of Arizona because of the environment. The team pushes each other to be better every practice and still has fun. The team has a bond that comes with everyone's hard work and respect for each other."
 
Coach Court says: "Haley is a very artistic and athletic gymnast. She will specialize in bars, beam, and floor. Haley is very intentional and will help elevate our program and she is the third Wildcat in her family."

  • Finished in eighth place on vault and 13th in the all-around at 2023 Nationals
 
Tirzah says: "I chose the University of Arizona because of the challenges it will offer both academically and athletically. I feel inspired to be part of the Wildcat family because of the welcoming and supporting atmosphere of the coaches and the team."
 
Coach Court says: "Tirzah is a very focused and driven person. She will be majoring in aerospace engineering and will give us solid routines across all four events. Her background in Elite and Level 10 will make her a strong competitor for us."
