As the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) celebrates Equipment Managers Appreciation Week this week (Sept. 17-23), we wanted to take some time to regonized the hard-working men and women on our equipment staff. They keep the teams fully furnished in the latest Nike gear and make sure the Block A looks pristine on every uniform the Wildcats put on. 

During the 2022-23 academic year, the equipment staff handled equipment needs for over 500 student athletes and 250 coaches and staff members. That amounts to over 7,200 newly issued Nike pieces. The crew also handled over 5,000 loads of laundry and rolled out new uniforms for football, men's basketball and baseball that are the best in the country.

The Arizona equipment staff includes:

Brian Brigger, who works with men's basketball and men's golf
Adam Braun, Tom Boesel and Sean Kenneally, who all work with football
Emliy Dwerlkotte, who works with women's basketball, softball, men's and women's tennis and women's golf
Frankie Manca, who works with Baseball and Triathlon
Ivy Martinez, who works with Track & Field and Cross Country, Gymnastics, Volleyball and Beach Volleyball
Zachary Cook, who works with Soccer and Swimming & Diving
