FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Sophomore Nena Wongthanavimok followed up her opening round of  68 by shooting 4-under par again on Saturday to lead the Wildcats. Wongthanavimok sits in a tie for second place at 8-under after the first two rounds of the Mason Rudolph Championship. Arizona Women's Golf enters Sunday's final round in eighth place at 3-under.

"Congratulations to Nena for playing another great round for us," said head coach Laura Ianello. "She is playing at a high level as well as some of the best golf of her career. We were not as strong as whole as I would have liked to see us today, but that's how tournaments and elite competition can go. We will have to come out on Sunday and shoot better scores as a team and see if Nena can pull out a big win on the individual side."

Wongthanavimok's round on Saturday was nearly flawless with five birdies, one bogey and 12 pars. She sits in a five-way tie for second place in a pack of golfers chasing tournament leader Andrea Lignell of Ole Miss at 10-under par. The sophomore from Bangkok, Thailand has been at her best on Vanderbilt Legends Club's par 4's with a score of 6-under, trailing only Lignell by one stroke in that statistical category.

Arizona has a second golfer in the top 25 after graduate senior Gile Bite Starkute shot a 73 on Saturday following a 69 on Friday. The Lithuanian golfer sits in a tie for 21^st at 2-under entering Sunday's finale.

The Wildcats will tee off alongside South Carolina and Kentucky in Sunday's final round, beginning at 6:09 a.m. (MST).
