TUCSON, Ariz. - Junior Brooke Earley has been selected as Pac-12's Women's Diver of the Week following her impressive performances this past weekend.
The diver led the unranked Wildcat women against No. 9 Cal and No. 10 Stanford, taking first place in three of four events over the course of two days. Following the graduation of former Wildcat and Olympian diver Delaney Schnell, Earley continues to step up to the plate and keep the Cats in the competition on the boards.
On Friday, Brooke put up scores of 281.33 in the 3-meter and 268.95 in the 1-meter, taking first place in both events and placing herself 29 points ahead of her second-place opponent.
The next day, the Wildcat improved her 1-meter score by over ten points to put up 280.95 and take first place against Stanford.
The announcement marks the first career Diver of the Week award for Earley.
Next up, Arizona is set to host their senior day dual against Arizona State on February 10 at 12:00 p.m. MST.
