Arizona Scores 197.000 Against Stanford; Ties Program Record on Bars

TUCSON, Ariz. – The Arizona GymCats earned a 197.000 - the seventh-highest score in program history - to take down Stanford on Saturday afternoon. Arizona posted a 49.475 on the uneven bars to tie the program record.
Vault
Arizona earned a 48.950 on vault in the first rotation. Malia Hargrove scored a high of 9.875 and Alysen Fears earned a 9.825. Abigayle Martin scored a 9.800 and Ainsley Greever posted a 9.750.
Uneven Bars
GymCats earned a 49.475 on bars which tied the program record on the event. Martin led Arizona and earned a career-high with a 9.975. Sophie Derr and Emily Mueller both earned career-highs with a pair of 9.90s. Hargrove posted a season-high 9.875 and Bailey McCabe earned a 9.825.
Balance Beam
Arizona posted a season-high team score 49.175 on beam. Elena Deets earned a 9.925 to record a career-high. Mueller posted a 9.875 and Jessica Castles had a 9.825 - both season-highs. Martin earned a 9.800 and Fears scored a 9.750.
Floor Exercise
Arizona scored a 49.40 on floor for the third-straight meet. Two GymCats - Caroline Herry and Mueller - both received 9.900 on floor. Deets opened on floor with a season-high 9.875. Hargrove scored a 9.875 and Emma Strom earned a 9.850.
