TUCSON, Ariz. – The Arizona GymCats scored a 196.900 against Southern Connecticut State on Wednesday evening in their last home meet.
Alysen Fears earned a career high of 39.475 in the all-around.
Vault
Arizona earned a 49.225 on vault in the first rotation to tie the team's season high. Fears started the meet off with a career-high of 9.900 and
Jessica Castles earned a season-high of 9.875.
Malia Hargrove earned a 9.850 and
Abigayle Martin scored a 9.825.
Uneven Bars
The GymCats earned a 49.150 on bars.
Emily Mueller opened bars with a 9.850.
Elena Deets earned a season-high score of 9.875 and
Sophie Derr also achieved a 9.875. Fears earned a 9.900 and Hargrove scored a 9.000.
Balance Beam
Arizona posted a 49.300 on beam. Fears achieved a 9.850. Two GymCats - Mueller and Martin - both scored a 9.875. Deets earned a 9.925 as Arizona's anchor on the event.
Floor Exercise
Arizona scored a 49.225 on floor in the final rotation.
Emma Strom started off the rotation with a 9.850. Fears and Deets both scored a 9.825. Hargrove earned a 9.800. Herry achieved a 9.875 and Mueller scored a 9.850.
